Here's something funny Gizmo and Gadget do -- They will try as best they can to walk on the sidewalk, rather than go on the grass. Not always, but if I walk outside to the car, and I cut across the grass, they will go out of their way to stay on the "path" of the sidewalk.Gizmo and Gadget's Dad

There are so many things it's hard to pick just one. Lucy loves her ball and will carry it with her most of the day. She just sit there with it in her mouth like a baby soother and she will bug you non stop to throw it. Tuffy doesn't care to play fetch with the ball much, but he will steal it from her and tease her with it. He puts it down and pretends to ignore it until she get close and then grabs it and runs away. It drives her nuts.

Minnie loves to untie my shoes....she's doing it as I type this. One shoe to go. I just hope she never learns to tie them together.

When she's outside she likes to watch the birds soar around. But what she really loves to do is plow thru tall weeds then flop down and make me dig her out.

    Miguel, "The Lifeguard"...

Recently, I bought some toys for Miguel's wading pool: a rubber mama duck and three baby ducks. Soon after I put the ducks in the pool, Miguel will paw at the ducks in an attempt to move them closer to his mouth. Usually he cannot reach them if he is standing outside of the pool, so he will tentatively step in it so that he can get closer to the ducks. Once he is able to maneuver the duck to his liking, he will gently grab it with his mouth, carry it out of the pool, and drop it at my feet. Miguel then returns to the pool so that he can rescue the remaining little ducks. It is just adorable to watch him patiently paw at the ducks to flip them over if they have somehow gotten upside down, since they are much easier for him to grab when their heads are pointing up.

Charlie is good at inventing games. I tied a pair of old stockings to our curtain rail with a soft squeaky ball in the end. He loves to run as far as far as he can with the ball in his mouth until.....perching!!! the ball and stockings go flying. Then with great excitment he starts all over again. Just like a cartoon!

Ting and Chester love the park...because it's up on the cliffs overlooking the ocean you can smell the salt water in the air before you actually see the park. On windy days the smell travels further. The first whiff of salty air has the dogs whining and pulling at their harnesses. As a matter of fact, they have harnesses that strap them into their seats becasue before they did, when they smelled the air they'd jump up into the front window of the mini van and paw at the window!

Coco loves vegetables, specially carrots. He spends a lot of time scratching the refrigerator in order to get some. After some carrots and green beans I just say: "enough!!" and leave the kitchen. He then lies down by the refrigerator and waits until I come back and open it to get something (for me). He immediatly jumps inside - well, only half of Coco fits inside - and quickly grabs whatever is by hand and runs to his bed. Last time he ate a whole spicy pepper... so for now I am not using the bottom shelf of the refrigerator, just in case! For now he jumps inside and tries to open the drawer and stays there until I give him something. If I don't, he wont let me close the refrigerator! By the way, he is completely blind but wherever he goes, he soon finds out where the fridge full of food is!

Miguel is a carrot fiend, as well. He has an older sister, who is an abyssinian guinea pig, and her cage is close to our refrigerator. Whenever I open the door of the fridge to get a carrot for the pig, the pug makes a beeline to the kitchen. By the time I turn to Lil Girl's cage, Miguel is as close as he can get to it, sitting on his haunches, waiting patiently for his own carrot. Sometimes, Miguel lucks out because the Lil Girl knocks the carrot out of my hand as I try to stick it in the cage, making it fall to the floor. The pug snags the carrot as quickly as he can and takes it into the living room so that he can enjoy his extra little treat.

Miguel has also become quite the "ladies' man" at the dog park and actually has his own little group of human fans, who have dubbed him "The Man of the Park". When we pass through the gate into the off-leash area, he struts his stuff across the field with his head held high and his tail tightly curled. Before he begins playing, he needs to check out who all is at the park, both canine and human, and after his initial lap around everyone present, he is ready to go. Miguel is rather picky about the ladies with whom he plays--they have to be at least twice his size, or he won't bother chasing them or reacting if they want to chase him. Now, I don't want anyone to misunderstand me...Miguel seeks out female dogs to chase, but he has been neutered and does not (usually) try anything inappropriate. He is a gentleman, after all. His current breed preferences are Great Pyrenees, Mastiffs, and Great Danes. His method of grabbing their attention consists of standing directly in front of the girl dog, so close that they are almost touching, and turning his head slightly to the side so that it looks as if he is playing "hard to get". Once she responds, Miguel tucks his tail and takes off running, with his lady friend in hot pursuit. It is very difficult to take a picture of Miguel in action since he can be quite the speedy little pug, but I try and always remember my camera-phone when we go to the park in case I have an opportunity to snap a cute shot.

Lucy sleeps everywhere as long as I am there too.

Coco is always alert. Even when he sleeps, he is always all ears to make sure that when somebody is going to the kitchen, he is going to be there too. He uses his big-eyed lobster as a pillow, just to keep an eye on me!

My little pixie pug...she sleeps on the top of our couch like some cat. She also will not walk on gravel...a little princes

It is funny, whenever I take her to the park, she chases after those low soaring birds that almost skim the grass. She will go after them for 15 mins to an half an hour and she jumps after them. I should put pics, if I can catch good ones,
Does anyone else's pug(s) do other animal impersonations? Or impersonations in general?

Schroeder looks like a bat when he's upside-down with his ears flayed open.

And he likes to climb all over us and furniture like a mountain goat (we call it mountain-goating).

He does his best human talking impression when we've just come in the house after being gone all day and ignore him. We get a great owru owru owru howl-growl that sounds like he's trying to talk. When we say "What" he responds with his version of "what". Then we play a game where the humans says what and then Schroeder says what.
my Gizmo loves to give me kisses and has to have my attention. If I ignore him he lets my know by using this vey high pich bark it sounds like he is whinning like a baby, also when my boyfriend is laying down and not paying attention to him he hurries up and licks his ear or sneezes on him and he is the only person that he does that to. He's a little sneaky runt and he knows it lol. I trained him well.
Bella is an official ear-ologist. She loves cleaning out our ears, mostly my husbands. She is also terrified of the camera, I must have done something wrong when she was little!

Jeff lets me hold him like an infant...LOL

it looks so ridiculous, i'll try and get a picture. then if i rub his belly he falls asleep.

also, he likes to chew things on top of other things. Example, he'll go get a toy and run over to me to put the toy on my feet as he chews it. Or i'll look over and he'll have his toy propped up on my shoes...crazy pug

Tumble likes to chase her tail and her behind, then sit down really fast to grab her tail and flip over... Hence, how she got her name, she's been doing that since my boyfriend and i got her about a year and a 1/2 ago.

she also LOVES to cuddle with my mother's mastiff, Jada

some people get angry with me because when its cold out i put a jacket on wallis or on haloween we dress him up, but i swear they just dont undertand that he lovess being dressed up and getting his picture taken!
My pug Marte loves her stuffed animals and won't go to bed unless she has one (or five) to suck on. When i tell her it's bed-time she'll run around the house looking for one to bring along with her.
she loves baths and showers and i have to keep a constant eye on her so she won't jump in with my nephew and niece every time they get a bath.
she also makes a strange smurfy "yum-yum-yum" sound when she eats stuff she really likes (corn flakes are a favourite)
